More book joy!

I received BOTH of the Paperbackswap books I was expecting in the mail yesterday. I'm so excited to read both of them! As I mentioned before, one is called "Will in the World: How Shakespeare Became Shakespeare" and the other is "How to Think Like Leonardo Da Vinci". I've started the Shakespeare book and flipped through the other. I think my current fiction reading will go by the wayside until I finish these!

After my book review of "The Liturgical Year" I had pretty much decided not to review any more books for a while because I didn't see anything on their list that interested me. Now I see that "Fearless" by Max Lucado is available so I snapped that up! See you guys in the spring when I dig my way out from under the avalanche of books! LOL!

Shalom, all!

  1. Oh, I love it when I get PBS books in the mail. Much better than all the other junk that comes. Enjoy your reading and I really hope you will post your thoughts on these.

  2. I just joined PBS this about 3 months ago and I think I'm addicted. I think in some ways it has helped in my reading because now the book doesn't just sit on my TBR pile but shows up at my house! And, sometimes there's a "W" after it which makes me want to move it through faster.

(coming over from Wayside Sacraments).. enjoying your blog

  3. Thanks for visiting gals! I'm about to go through my bookshelves and donate some stuff to the library book sale (if it isn't on someone's wishlist on PBS) to make room for more! But I really have to make sure I make more time for the Word of God in my life!! It's easy to get carried away with "other" reading! Have a great day!
